Best place to learn Graphic Design (Online)?

Hi guys,

What is the best place for a person to pick up essential graphic design skills?

At the very least, get acquainted with Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator?

Learn the basics of Graphic Design preferably while they are it as well?

Would love to check out places you have tried yourselves.

To learn software you could read the documentation.

Or try Lynda.com or one of the other training ressources like Photoshoptrainingchannel or the like

You could also research an ACE in your area and take a training.

You don't "pick up" graphic design skills. You practice them over and over. You learn and then discuss your results with your teachers and other students. You learn the rules, try to follow them, maybe learn that it's not always possible to follow all the rules. Learn how to break them. But all of this need to grow.
