broken links illustrator

good day 

for sometime now i've been experience the same problem as i open a file i am getting the message of "couldnt find the link file  "" " i have no file name "" there is no path and i didnt make any changes wheras files locatin or name . this situation happens with diffrent files over and over  kindly advise
