Can one record Illustrator-operations for Javascript

About a year ago someone has asked about that feature already (»Script recorder (dump to a file) like photoshop?«) but gotten no reply either way.
As I have so far not been able to figure out how to trigger many Illustrator-features via JavaScript I would like to pose the question again if there is a way to perform a recording of operations in Illustrator like the ScriptingListener does for Photoshop?

(Im aware that no answer then indicates that there is no such way and I dont want to annoy You all, but Im curious anyway.)

Illustrator doesn't have that feature.

There are many commands in Illustrator's user interface that are not accessible by scripts.

Ive been on holiday so I didnt notice Your answer till now.

While the fact seems unfortunate it is good to get this clarification from a knowledgeable source like You.
Thanks.
