Can't edit existing text on old save file

I am editing a workspace and using an old file save that has a floorplan, however, I cannot edit or change any of the existing text in this file. I have no prompts and cannot select any of the text boxes. Any ideas would be welcome!

Is it possible that the file was saved as an image? From your description this sounds likely. What is the file type?
