Hi, if you use the transform effect to copy an object multiple times in an array of let's say 20 copies, can you then apply this effect so that each copy can now individually be altered? Because it seems you can only alter the main object which would in turn change all of the copies. I hope this question was kind of clear because I have trouble finding any answers just because I'm failing to find the right words to search this on google. If not; is there a different way in which you can make an array of copies with each their own attributes without have to manually copy and paste each one?
thanks in advance. - Rudy
After applying the Effect > Distoret & Transform > Transform...
You can choose Object > Expand Appearance to apply the effect and edit the copies
