Click-Move-Click Method Instead of Click-Drag-Click

Hello. I've customized the workflow in Illustrator to make it more similar to SketchUp and so far it's ok. The method of drawing however is one thing that I have difficulty with. In SketchUp you normally click-move-click, to draw lines, circles etc. In Illustrator it's click-drag-click (you must not release the mouse button). Any chance of having a click-move-click method? Thank you.

Mainly, I had my mind on the Rectangle, Ellipse, Arc, Line, Polygon and other similar tools.

Vahe,
Apart from the option of specifying values rather than drawing, ClickDragging is the only way, I am afraid.
Illy (job description Adobe Illustrator) is always eager to help, but you have to tell her what you wish, and that (basically from here to here) is how you can do it so she gets it.

Hm, ok. Seems I'll have to get used to it, whether I want it or not. Still, thanks a lot for replying.

vahép,
ClickDragging is necessary for the Handles of curved paths with the Pen Tool (such as circles (which are made (more accurately) with the Ellipse Tool)). For paths with straight segments, just Clicking is the way, as Doug said.
It is different for some other tools like the Line Segment Tool and the Pencil Tool (if you can find it hidden under the Shape Tool).
