Color Swatches: A couple of basic questions

Contributor ,
Mar 25, 2022 Mar 25, 2022

Thank to an answer in an earlier question, I was able to create a color group and add my colors, as seen in the screen grab attachment.

Two questions:

1: What is the small white triange in the lower right corner of each color swatch indicating?

2: Now that I created this group, will it load each time I open Illustrator, and if not, how to I tell Illustrator to do so?

Thanks in advance.

That triangle means a global swatch. Use it in your document and you can easily change it everywhere it is used.

You can make a swatch library persistent by choosing that from the panels menu.
