Hi,

is there any simple way how to convert a stroke (of some width) into fill? That it will become a part of the filled area inside?

In Flash - there is a function "convert lines to fills" - so something like that in Illustrator?
Thanks, regards.

Tried this and Object > Expand was inactive. It turns out it does not work on Compound Paths, so you need to do Object > Compound path > Release in that case.
