Converting this image into Shape

There is a method shown to create heart symbol. Is it possible to convert this image into shape? because applying Expand Apprence does not make a full shape.

You could try Flatten transparency and Pathfinder Unite.

I just check  this box it worked. I do not know what is meant by Preserve Alpha Transparency.

That is the kind of transparency not caused by setting an opacity percentage or by using a blending mode, but like the see through hole in a donut.

Use Object > Outline Stroke after Expand Appearance.
