Copy / Paste Color Error

Hi,

Suddenly, after the last update, my Illustrator started experiencing a color bug. (and my three colleagues also). 
I copy and paste an image from one document to another, and then it all gets messed up.

if i zoom in (looses color  and gets strange stripes)

I'm in a MAC Studio (2025) with the latest version of Illustrator. Working as usual, in CMYK mode.

Does switching betweeb CPU and GPU preview make a difference? Cmd E

Found something! I believe the problem is about clipping maks.

My image as a clipping.

If I copy only the image layer the image is good!

The problem is that I use clipping a lot. Does anyone have a workaround?

another info:

if i press OPTION to drag and duplicate the clipped image, it is ok.

if i go to the layer options and duplicate it is ok.

if i press copy/past the the keyboard, it ruins my image.

Cmd  E is only to switch between previews.

As your problem is occurring when using copy/paste using the keyboard, there may be some other app or utility interfering with copy/paste.

Can you check if that also happens when only Illustrator is running?

I've installed v29.3 and it works as intended. why they ruin things with updates?
