Hello, recently Command V stoped working in Illustrator. When I try to copy something from Photoshop, it does just nothing. Any idea how to fix that. Exporting every single little thing as a PNG takes too much time.

Just the shortcut? Or doesn't the menu command work either?
When was your last computer reboot? Maybe now would be a good idea?
Do you have anything installed in the system that claims to enhance the clipboard?
Can you try and disable the SVG option from the Illustrator clipboard handling preferences?

I rebooted it now, nothing changed,
I dont have instaled anything like that.
I tried that, nothing changed.
Its weird because I can copy paste things from Illustrator to Photoshop, but it not works the other way. Today was update, so maybe its that?
I have one changed shortcut, but that is command X, not Command V.

Hi. Please try resetting the preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/user-guide.html/no/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.ug.html

Then maybe it's time to ask what kind of "something" you copy from Photoshop and from kind of file?

It is .psd file. I made few brush strokes in photoshop and wanted to copy them to illustrator. I can do that, if I export that as a PNG, but that takes long time. Before I was able to copy things to Illustrator easily. Illustrator is better for work, because you can place things outside of artboards imho.
After that I tried photo and text too. Both failed to copy which is weird, because I am so sure, it was all possible to copy yesterday.
I even managed to copy the brush strokes to Illustrator early after restart, but then it stoped working again.
Outside of that, I was changing passwords to my email yesterday and somehow, I reseted my accidentaly Photoshop. May it be connected?

You could check the clipboard preferences in Photoshop.
it's not a 16 bit/channel Photoshop file, no?

Its 8 bit. But yeah, its seems like its the Photoshop, because I can copy things to Illustrator from InDesign.
Not sure for what thing should I look.

There's a reason I don't hang out in the Photoshop forum ...
Maybe you ask over there, because if there's a rare clipboard problem in Photoshop, in the Photoshop forum there are the people who know.

Does copy something in Illustrator and paste in Illustrator work?
If so I would suspect an app interfering with the clipboard.

Yeah, it works in both programs.
Interesting, but I dont have any idea, what could be interfering with that.
