Disappearing letters

I have letters that randomly disappear from my working doc. The only way to fix is to rotate or dramatically change the style of the word (size change etc.)

The fonts are legit and there is no transparency applied to the text. Letter miraculously reappears after text is rotated 1 degree:

I know it's an Illustrator fault, but the issue is that it happens at random and shows up in exported files. My colleague has the same issues when working off my files on his system, so it's not my computer.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I think that it is related text style. Have you tried to convert text using Object_Expand Appearance command.

Of course it will not be font anymore due to converted text.

Which version?

Which system?

Which font?

How many objects in the file?

How many text objects? Does it work in a new file with fewer of these street names?

How exactly are those appearances built?
