I've been using Adobe for a while on my macbook pro as well as my PC. I use the cloud to be able to work from either one easily if needed. I started and was working on a specific file on my mackbook then wanting to work on it on my PC since it is bigger. However, when I went to open the file, I got this error.
"Can't open file
The account you signed in with doesn't have access to this file. Contact the owner for more info."
I checked to make sure other files that I started on my macbook were not glitched, but it just seems to be the one. I also made sure that it was the SAME exact user info as well. It is all the same which means that I SHOULD be the owner, so why is it not recognizing me as the owner.
Can you try and log out and then into your Creative cloud account?
Can you download the file directly from the assets.adobe.com page?

Downloading the file is a good suggestion. But instead of saving them as Cloud documents, you can also sync your files by saving them in your CC files folder. That way they are always saved locally and also downloaded to your other computer.
They automatically get versioned (you can go back to previous file versions for at least 10 days ago).
And still make traditional backups as well...
