Hi,
1- Is there a keyboard shortcut for "Duplicate Item" in the Appearance panel, such as duplicating a fill or a layer?
2- While I'm at it, I'll ask the question for the other menu items too: Add New Fill, Add New Stroke, Remove Item, Clear Appearance, Reduce to Basic Appearance.
3- And when adding a new item, like a fill or a a stroke, is it possible to add one in "default" state? (the same state that a fill or stroke has when the appearance is cleared)
This is for CS4.
Thanks.
Duplicate item: Alt(Option) + move item up or down
New Fill Ctrl(Cmd)+/
New Stroke Alt(Option)+Ctrl(Cmd)+/
Other options don't have their own shortcuts

You can create an action and then assign it a shortcut.
