DWG File Crashing Ai

Is there something going on with illustrator at the moment? Maybe a glitch from the last update? I have opened this file before, and I also am able to open native Ai files, but for whatever reason whenever I try and open this DWG file, it crashes and closes illustrator. HALP. It worked before!

Sorry for the inconvenience. As per your query when you open a particular DWG file in Illustrator, it crashes. Could you please confirm are other DWG files open fine on illustrator. If yes, would you mind sharing a sample file?

Haha wow, sorry Im replying so late but yes, ther DWG files were opening fine, it was just a specific one. I cant recall which file it is at this point though, I must have found a work around for it. Apologies on the lack of follow through. Ill definitely try and keep on the forum when asking questions.
