Dec 07, 2018 Dec 07, 2018

Hi all,

I want to export one word in a particular font from Ai to any other graphic program and be able to further tweak, move the word (if necessary) in that program (example Canva or an online design tool). I Googled this for a while but didnt find much.

thank you!

I think it will be much less pain for you to solve this in Illustrator than try to get editable stuff into another app.'

You could consider making most of the design in Illustrator, placing in the other app, then adding all the text in the other app.

Of course, you can copy and paste the text, but usually the specific font is lost in the process and would need to be re-applied.

My issue is that I made a Tshirt design with an online design tool... on that design tool, there is a font (Bangers) which cuts off the last letter when I export to PNG.  So I figured I would create in AI and bring it into that online design tool which does allow you to upload your own fonts (and I do have the Font file on my computer)
