export transparent gradient shapes from CC Library as svg

Hello everyone,

I have put some illustrations I created in Illustrator into my CC library and want to export them as SVGs back in Illustrator. When I take the illustrations out of the library and put them back into an Illustrator file, they need to be embedded in order to export them as svgs. But if the illustrations have rounded shapes and transparent gradients, the gradients in the exported file are either gone or they are somehow cut off.  If the gradients do not contain transparencies there is no problem, even simple shapes are no problem.

You can see an example here (screenshot of the exported svg file, in the third row there is the cut of gradient)

I suspect it has something to do with the clipping masks of the gradients that appear as soon as the illustration is embedded. Because if I delete the clipping masks, the problem disappears. But I would like to have a solution where I don't have to change the illustrations after I have taken them from the CC Library.

I hope my problem is understandable 😄

Can anyone help me? :')
Thanks

Try Alt Drag form the Library.

Just dragging places a PDF version of the object, when expanded it expands a pdf.

Alt Drag places the original and embeds it.

How do you embed the objects from the CC Library?

Alt-drag them from the Library or drag them and select Embed in Illustrator?

I draged them and then selected embed in Illustrator. Also when I didn't select embed and they get embedded automatically when exporting as svg, same happens. That doesn't matter.

When I alt-drag them from the Library a new problems appears 😄 because when the Illustration is a bit more complicated with a lot of elements, some elements get shifted to a random new position. But in this case, at least the gradients stay the same. Do you know maybe know why some elements change position when alt-dragging them in Illustrator?

Elements that change position could be caused by snapping, snap to pixel, snap to grid.

Oh yes, you were right! I had accidentally switched on Snap to Pixel! Thanks, it works now, yay!
