Hi,
So when I use a find and replace on specific text Illustrator always changes the font size to whatever the size of the text is next to that being replaces - it doesn't keep the actual font size that I am replacing. to Explain further if I have the following line of text -
$2,655PP
and I do a find and replace to change just the 655 part illustrator will pull the formatting and font size from the ,
or if I do a find and replace on 2,655 illustrator will change the font to $ size and formatting
& FINALLY and most frustratingly of all I just discover that if I do a find an replace on just 55 illustrator will change the formatting to match the PP
So no mater what I do it seems, if there is any text on either side of that being replaced within the same text block, the replaced text will change its formatting to match the closest text that is different and not the retain the formatting of the text actually being replaced!!
This is a bug obviously, and when I have an art board with 30 plus prices I need to change regularly it would help if find and replace functioned correctly - I understand I can avoid this by keeping each different formatted element in its own text box, but that is anything but practical.
