Font bug? Substituted Font + Find/Replace problem

I have worked on several illustrator files this morning that use the same fonts. I have updated Illustrator to the lastest version - 28.2 - at noon. Now when I open my files:
- one of the fonts is substituted by Myriad (yes, without asking)
- also the Find/Replace window doesn't show that Myriad is used in my document - so I can't simply change the font back to the original one
- also when I try to edit this missing font, the "Character" panel doesn't show it's actual values (size, font etc.), but shows that of the other fonts selected before
(I have of course the missing fonts installed, I used them this morning. I work on Windows.)

Do you use font management apps?
Which font has been replaced? Did you already re-install it?
How was it used in the document? Normal text or diagram? Symbol? ...

Thanks! No, I don't use any font management app. I have already uninstalled and re-installed all the fonts used in the document. It us used as simple text.

I have "solved" it by reverting Illustrator to the previous version: 28.1. The font I had problem with is PP Fraktion Sans TTF. May it have something to do with the fact that it is a TrueType font?

Certainly not.
Is the font OK? Is it a font that you licensed? Can you download it again?

Yes - my client has licenced the font, and I have already uninstalled and installed it again, but it didn't solve the problem. The only solution was what I have described. But of course it is no longterm solution, as I want to use the latest version of Illusrtator in the future.

Hello @Zsuzsanna32609954ybge,
We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. I tried replicating this behavior on my end with the OpenType version of the font, but I could not do so. Would you mind using the OpenType font from the font foundry to check if it helps?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav
