Getting random lines and points after using Minus Front

Hi guys. I am trying to draw a shutter using Illustrator. First thing, I use minus front on two different circles to create a shape:Screen Shot 2018-11-09 at 12.39.05 pm.png

So, I put the new shape on the small circle. Note that the new shape is actually a path, as you can see in layer panel.

Then I rotate the object copying it

Then I use minus front again on the two small objects

I get a new smaller objects that has some random points and lines and I don't know why.

I tried to convert the objects to shape before using minus front, but I get a message that the objects were not converted. I tried also to outline the strokes, but nothing happened.

Can you guys help me?

Thank you

The lines look like anti-aliasing artifacts.

Please check the layers panel and please check the objects in outline view.

Thanks for replying Monica but unfortunately it is still not working. This is what I get outlining everything; you can see in layer panel there are a bunch of small objects created after using Minus frontScreen Shot 2018-11-09 at 2.23.37 pm.png

Please open the pathfinder settings (from the panel menu) and adjust the precision setting.
