Glyphs Not Applying to Characters

Community Beginner ,
Jul 14, 2024 Jul 14, 2024

For some reason, glyphs are not applying to characters, no matter what font I'm working in. I've never had this problem before. I've checked everything I can think of, and have rebooted, restarted, etc. Any insight would be appreciated!

Could you please describe the steps that are not working?

Also: which font? Which system and version is it?

I have checked my settings and they seem to be correct. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for? Thank you.

it is not about checking your setting ,

I mean reset illustrator preferences settings:

TO RESTORE PREFERENCES QUICKLY USING A KEYBOARD SHORTCUT

  • Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) as you start Illustrator. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Illustrator.
