HELP Alt+shift+drag clone function not working in Illustrator

New Here ,
May 30, 2017 May 30, 2017

MacBook Pro 2017 using Illustrator CC 2017

Does this function still work or is there something wrong with the program?

I have tried reinstalling and restarting but it hasn't helped.

Yes, it's still there. But sometimes doesn't work too well when working with live shapes. Try and don't use shift. Instead rely on smart guides.

Same problem

Which key exactly is not working?

Do you have a Wacom tablet? Updated the driver recently? Apparently there are issues with their new driver that cause the Alt key to stop working.

Yes it happens only with the Wacom tablet, and the driver is up to date.

Yes it happens only with the Wacom tablet, and the driver is up to date.

Then downgrade the driver. Install a different version.

It's only a slight chance that it might work.

It will almost definitely work if you downgrade the Wacom driver. Try WacomTablet_6.3.20-8

With WacomTablet_6.3.20-8 sometimes Alt stops working (Illustrator quit and restart helps)

Trying different versions and:

everything works with WacomTablet_6.3.18-4
