This is a very basic problem I'm sure but I'm used to working in indesign. I have a design project with images laid out across a 5 page PDF. When I export the images are coming out blurry. The aspect ratio for each page is 1920 x 1080. Help!
Thanks
Marion

1. What size in pixels are the images?
2. What is the size and effective PPI of the images when placed in Illustrator?
3. What are your PDF output settings for images?
4. What software are you using to view the PDF after exporting? What zoom setting?
5. Can you share comparison images before and after exporting?

That 1920 x 1080 size is pixels, centimeters, inches or something else?

Document size is pixels so for example the smaller text under 'inspiration' is 15pt. Images are scree grabs dropped in. Various sizes between 127 and 200K.
Below is a screengrab of doc in illustrator v's doc on export. Also attached is a screen grab of how I'm exporting. I'm viewing the pdf with preview on mac after export.

Can you click the little cog wheel to check the PDF Preset? I would not be surprised if it was set to Smallest File size.

can you share the artboard you have shown above?
You can do a save as and check "Save each artboard to a separate file" and select artboard 11

Did you say you dropped in screen grabs? If so, then that is the culprit. Screen grabs are only 72dpi, so they are not high resolution to begin with.
