I was working in a document, am trying to learn Illustrator better, as I primarily use AE/Premiere. Hex codes were working fine, and now for whatever reason they have stopped working. I am working in RGB color space, and when I type in the code, it isn't validating even if I TAB or ENTER. It just reverts to the existing color. Am trying to apply with fonts.
Any insight would be wonderful.

So your File > Document Color Mode is RGB color?

Yes. The Hex Codes worked fine on first 3 text layers, and will not work for the last 4. I restarted a new document from scratch and the same thing happens. It works fine for the first 3, but then stops after that.

Could it have something to do with color libraries?

Can you use the color panel?
And also what do you mean that it's not validating?
Please do also check the appearance panel.

By not validating, I mean, that when I input into the hex field, I am not seeing the color picker switch at all. Usually, it would adjust it's color as I input each alphanumeric character. If I tab out of the field, the color just stays the same. The color panel also will not work for hex codes in this instance.
