Hide one artboard

Explorer ,
Jul 02, 2020 Jul 02, 2020

I've seen lots of answers to variations of this question, but not the specific answer - if there is one!

I have 3 versions of artwork on 3 artboards.

Can I hide individual artboards – you know, swtich them off and on... like layers – without having to use the layers panel?

Thanks

Hi,

Currently there is no feature by which you can hide artboards like Layers. But you can request feature as an enhancement

https://illustrator.uservoice.com/

Or there is a similar request, you can vote this

Great - will do, although I see this request has been pushed for since feb 2017, so I don't hold out much hope here!

Hi,

Don't loose hope. Things take some time to develop. Adding new feature is not one day task in a stable product.  There are lots of feature requests in a queue. So, the request with higher vote will take more priority. I hope you understand 🙂

Best regards

Sure - I understand it's not a 'one day task' Which is why I thought it might be worth pointing out that it's been a request – among many of your users – for well over three years! Thanks

Been 7 years now and still no option to hide or lock inidividual artboards. I think it's officially time to lose (not loose) hope.
