How do you change the default Ellipse size?

I use the Ellipse tool to create 0.25" circles a lot.  I get tired of having to change from 1.3889", which seems to be the default value.  How can I change that default value to 0.25" within the Ellipse tool so that every time I open a new document the value will default to 0.25"?

Thanks!

You may create a simple action with the desired dimensions and assign a keyboard shortcut to it.
