How to access interactive tutorials in Illustrator?

Community Beginner ,
Jan 06, 2020 Jan 06, 2020

There used to be FUN AND INTERACTIVE Tutorials in ALL the Adobe application (such as make an icon).

It really helped me learn illustrator quickly and effectively as I did the work. I was able to follow the instructions and actually remember them. It was a fantastic idea. what happened?

Now I have to watch boring videos on the Adobe website.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. In order to access the Illustrator Tutorial, please launch Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App and look for Illustrator and click on learn more icon and you will be able to explore the tutorials. For more information, you can refer to the screenshot below:

Hello, Im talking about the tutorials in the application (not the videos found in browser). They should be found by clicking 'window' in menu tab at top of the illustratior or indeign application and then 'learn' You can find them the same way in photoshop and Adobe XD. They are tutorials that are in the application so you dont have to split screen with your web browser.

Thanks for confirming that. I did check and in the latest version of Illustrator that is 24.0.1, we do have those interactive tutorials there as well. Could you please confirm the exact version of Illustrator and the Operating System. Is there any specific tutorial that you are unable to see there or you are unable to see any tutorials?

I would say I have the latest version there is as I just got it a couple of days ago. I can’t see any of the tutorials they use to have. When I click windows and scroll to learn i can’t click it. Doesn’t give me the option. However i have that option to use tutorials on photoshop and CD but not illustrator and Indesign why?

This is 24.0.1 on Windows:

Is your problem that the 'Learn' option does not cause this panel to appear; that 'Learn' is there but greyed out; that 'Learn' isn't there at all, or something else?

Sorry for the delay in response. Could you please try resetting the preferences for Illustrator and see if that solves the issue. To reset the preferences please follow the steps shared in the help article below:

 https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html#setting_illustrator_preferences

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. The locations are mentioned in the article.
