I'm using Illustrator CS5. How do you change Hue / Saturation on an existing gradient color object much like the hue/saturation option in photoshop?
So I made some color art using gradients and want to just change the Hue / Saturation using a slider? Thanks, hope my question was clear.
Hey guys, i am using Illustrator cc2018, in this we got an option for saturation.

You can try to adjust it with the color sliders in Edit>Edit Color>recolor Art
or you need the plug in call Phantasm which will allow you to work this way with objects and images directly in Illustrator.

Thanks that's exactly what I need. Older illustrator use to have a function
like that before? Not sure it still exist.
As for the Phantasm, the color Saturation option doesn't work in the trial until you buy it showned in their video. The trail version link for Windows 7 for some reason gave me a Mac OS version instead. The download link given to me in my e-mail works only once. I can't buy or test out even if I wanted to.... But I'll get it go agian once they fix up their site.
Open to other suggestions.

The Phantasm software is well tested and works exactly like the Photoshop feature. The developers is a little overly protective of the software.
If someone who knew their stuff wanted to crack the code they would be able to do so for us even a ten day trial would convince one to by.
I don't know why he does not realize that there is no way to judge without a real trial.

This feature existed in 2010 as well. But have you ever compared it to Photoshop's Hue/Saturation?

This is the actual solution!! Theres even an option to adjust all the colours at once for complex designs! Thank youuuu
