Hi there,
I'm trying to draw paths inside an object, but the path sometimes coming out a little of the object's edge.
I want to control the drawing path to end at the edge of the object, could anyone please tell me good ways to try?
You could try setting this option:
to 'draw inside' it will create mask from the main shape.
Also just regular mask will do.

Thankyou for your reply and concern.
I found a good way to implement that is using the "Draw inside" function.

Draw inside and Clipping mask create the exact same type of object. They are just different methods to get there.

Hi Monika,
Thankyou for your kindly instruction.
I tried the Clipping mask but it didn't bring the effect that I want because the object disappeared after making clipping mask, only the paths inside it remain.
However I could get to the result that I want by "Draw inside" function.

There's no object disappearing. When using "Create clipping mask" it just gets rid of the fill. And you need to apply the fill afterwards. That's all. It's the same kind of object.

Dear Lumenn,
Thankyou for your kindly reply. I tried the "Draw inside" function and it was exactly what I want.
Thankyou so much!
