How to evenly reduce size of object in a progression

Hi all! I don't know what to call what it is I'm looking to figure out. So if you could help either figure out how to do what I'm about to describe... or how better to ask my question online, I'd appreciate it! Basically, I have an object in Illustrator. I want to duplicate that object and reduce the size slightly. I want to do this about 10 times, so it looks like I have one object near me (big) and one object far from me (smaller). I know there's a way to do this automatically... but I can't figure it how! Thank you so much!

This forum looks different to me. I'm not sure how to mark your answer as the correct one?
