Hello there,

I would to know how to make a 3D grid on an object, is it with Illustrator or Photoshop ?

Like these pictures below :

As you can see, it looks quite futuristic and I like that !

Is there any tutorial for that ? Or any tools or add-on ?

Thanks per advance,

Kind regards

if it were as simple as that, i would draw it with the pen tool. what sort of things do you want to do with it?

Oh ! So no add-on
My goal is to make this car with only lines and grid.
That's what I want !
Do you think that pen tool is good enough to make it ?

it's not whether the pen tool is good enough, it's whether you are

with a car like that, it is helpfully angular and there are lots of parts that could act as useful guides. so i think it wouldn't be too difficult to come up with something of a similar quality to your reference images.

As mentioned, you can use the pen tool for a simple grid, or you could use Illustrator's mesh tool, which is more complex, or you can use Illustrator's 3D effect and render the surface as wireframe, but really only for simple 3D forms.

You could use Photoshop to mask the photo of the face and use Photoshop's pen tool to draw out a simple contour grid as well.

If you want to get the most bang for your buck and integrate a 3D head with a photographic face you most likely would want to use true 3D software.

Thanks for your reply too,

Is there any tutorial for everything that you talked about ?

I'm quite a novice for that...

Kind regards
