how to make the start workspace window smaller?

the window for the start workspace in illustrator is too big on my laptop. how can i make it smaller so the bottom doesn't disappear? i cannot see to find any info on doing that.

It can be resized from the bottom corners. But if you can't access them I don't know.

Do you find the window userful? If not, I'd suggest disabling it in General Preferences, along with the "File New" window.

i just realized that i can resize it from the top. DUH!!! problem solved!

thanks for responding. i cannot access the bottom corners so i don't know either! i will try disabling it.
