Hi all,
I'm trying to make this object solid, rather than the dotted gradient effect. Any advice?
Thanks!
Going the other way of making a gradient into halftone dots is what Adobe has filters to heklp you with.
There is no way you will be able to interpolate this to a mathematically precise result, so I would redraw this and fill with radial gradient.Use the gradient annotator, and adjust your start and stop colors for the look you desire

It is already solid no gradient. It is just small and large halftone effect dots.
Do you mean that you need it to be the same size ?!
If so you can make pattern with a circle and apply it to your shape.
-----
If you need to make it with the Effect>Pixelate>Color Halftone.
It will be like your image if your shape is a black to white gradient.
it will be the same circles but large if you made your shape in black.
it will be the same circle size and separated if you make another color or gray color.
I made a video for you:

Hi Omar, thanks for your response and video!
I should've been a bit more clear. I essentially want to do the opposite of your video - instead of the shapes being dotted, I want to make them all solid. I've attached a very rough image done with paint to give an example, but want to do it properly in Ai.

The image you've shown above - is that a vector image? Can you show us the outline view?
Also: can you show us the layers panel?
And the appearance panel? Object needs to be selected.
Maybe there is a pattern applied to the shapes. Or maybe a clipping mask.
But maybe it's not a vector image at all.

I believe it's a vector, here's some screenshots.

Thank you. Unfortunately it has been expanded. So you will have to follow Mike's advice.

For my part you are welcome.
Should not take too long as you only have 6 shapes to make. Come back if you need any more help.
