I'm looking for a how-to on how to convert an .ai file to a PowerPoint presentation.  Please help.

I have never done this. but there is an article about that:

i am positive you will have a ton of issues with others try to work/ edit the file. You should really export graphics as images and make master pages in powerpoint/make a template the correct way. It will be way faster for you to learn powerpoint than the aggravations you are going to meet with the road you want to take.

That is my advice.

I'd just save it as a PDF and place the file in PPT.
