Illustrator 2025 (29.7.1) Units preference resetting to points after changing keyboard increments

I have a bug that after I change the units preference from points to mm. If I then go back in to preferences after, and change the keyboard increment distance and click ok, the transform palette and rulers, etc are back in points. I then have to go back in to preferences to change it again.
Also, I use cmd+K to access this panel and for years have then just been able to type a new increment, but now it starts typing in the search bar instead. Really annoying to change over 20 years of learned experience.

Thats only one of the issues. Any idea when these issues are going to be solved though? Its a real pain as I updated because of another major bug in the previous version.

On the UserVoice it says it will be fixed in the upcoming release.

Yeah, I realise that. Not really a definite answer though is it. How many weeks/months have we got to put up with numerous bugs (I have an issue with saving files too which has meant I have had to disable other features and also other issues like swatches and link names disappearing from the palettes).
