Illustrator and photo control bar sticking to my screen

If anyone can help me 🙂

When I load illustartor or photoshop, everything loads and works okay - the tool bar, control bar... etc but sticks and fits to my computer screen and were the window document would be, nothing loads and shows what you have open behind photoshop/illustrator. 

So I'm just wanting to know how I can change it back normal settings with the software loading the widow document section and not it stickin to fit my mac screen.
