I use the Asset Export feature in Illustrator. My artboard has multiple designs and I drag them all to the panel and export each individually as a PNG.
What's happening (that hasn't happened in the past):
1. Each design group is grouped. Strokes are converted to outlines.
2. I drag a selection to the panel - here they look fine in the preview like they are all cropped perfectly.
3. I save them as 150 DPI PNG and hit export.
4. When I look in the export folder they have all this extra pixels. I open them in Photoshop and try to Trim but nothing happens.
5. I've also tried viewing in Outline mode in AI to see if there is something extra but nothing is there.
I don't know why this worked for me all this past year but now it's not.
Attached are my screens for examination.
I am currently using:
iMac Pro 2017 Mojave10.14.6
Most current version of Illustrator CC

Work in Points or Pixels.
Make sure the dimensions of your objects/groups don't contain fractional pixels.
Export at multiples of 72 ppi, so 144 instead of 150. The 2X option will do this.

Alright I got it to work. If I copy the items to a new document and then drag to export assets panel all is well. So something is off with my original document. I still did everything the way I always do.
