I just installed Illustrator v29.4 and created documents very quickly. However, after restarting my computer, Illustrator created documents very slowly, taking about two minutes. After creating, the entire window shrank together.

With a freshly installed application preferences shouldn't be an issue, but anyway: can you try and reset them?
