Adobe Illustraor 29.01
I like to provide the feedback > help > Submit feedback/ bug https://illustrator.uservoice.com/ on this page I need to login, and it is not the Adobe inlog - Why is this not same?
I have installed the Adobe 2025 (BETA) and measurments are in px, and I changed it under Edit > Prefereences and Unit to Milimiters.
What happens: nothing I have all shapes sizes in pixels.
And I like to report this as a bug finder.

The uservoice requires its own login.
Units in Illustrator are document specific. Right click on the rulter to reset them. When setting up a new document you can set them as well. The preferences settings are only for documents that do not have their own units setting (like JPEGs that you open instead of placing)

@Jeanette5FB3 one of the things if I have to change measurements for a client, I will change my preferences. For example, I normally work in inches. But, I have a client who likes to work in points. So, before I create any document, I would open my preferences, Command K for the Mac (or Control K for the PC). I would change my 'Units' from 'Inches' to 'points'.
When I create a new document, it likely will say inches. I will change that measurement to points. And the dimensions will be in points. Let's close this document.
Now, if I create another new document, 'points' will be the measurement of choice for me until I change it

Or until you open a document with a different unit, which will change the default as well.
