Hello everyone,
We have received several reports of apps crashing or becoming unresponsive after launch, particularly following the release of version 28.6. Unlike generic crashes, this issue specifically causes all Adobe apps to get stuck at the splash screen or enter a “not responding” state, preventing them from launching. The problem has been traced to certain Beta Adobe applications related to video composition and editing. We recommend updating all Beta and released versions of video-specif

To check for the beta apps, go into your application folder.
You can also open the Creative Cloud app and see a list of what's installed. you should be able to uninstall the betas via the Creative Cloud app.
Or look into the application folder and then into the respective app folder - there should be an uninstaller.
The cleaner tool is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
If you have custom brushes or other stuff, here's where to find them. Get them out of there into a safe place before uninstalling: https://www.vektorgarten.de/illustrator-settings.html

Based on your screenshot, it looks like you have the Photoshop Beta installed. The other Beta seems to be uninstalled, so you don’t need to worry about it.
Please try uninstalling Photoshop Beta and then attempting to relaunch Illustrator and other apps. This should help resolve the issue. Once you've done that, let us know how it goes, and we can assist further if needed.
I know this has been frustrating, but we’re here to help you get back on track!
Best,

Other users have reported a similar issue, and we have found that completely reinstalling all beta applications helps resolve it. If that doesn't help, please try the following steps and let us know your observations:
- Close all Adobe applications. - Remove all CC apps using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool: https://adobe.ly/3LZDS68
- Reinstall Illustrator using the Creative Cloud Desktop application: https://adobe.ly/3LX80PC

Thank you for your patience, and I hope this helps!

why can't you get hold of a specialist from Adobe, so they can do this for us?
I am not such a specialist to do all this.

@iammikedeleon not enough RAM....with Generative AI in many of the applications, those are huge RAM sucking apps. So, quit the one s you don't need, and you should be fine...and if you have music or video streaming in the background too!

You are just opening them and they do this?
But even when there are projects open, they shouldn't do that.
Having too many apps open will slow you down, but they shouldn't freeze. I'm having those open sometimes for days (but also I'm not running Sonoma).
Are you running any Window manager in your system? Or a clipboard manager?
Do you have a lot of fonts installed? Third party plugins in any of the apps?
Have you experienced any issues with files you have in Creative Cloud lately?
Have you experienced any other issues that could point to a cause?
