Illustrator not included in Creative Cloud?

I'm having some difficulty with accessing Adobe Illustrator and I can't figure out what is going on. I have the Creative Cloud student plan that is supposed to include Illustrator. I know this as I've used it many times. Although, when I went to open Illustrator today it asked me to "Try" or "Buy" it.
I was confused, so I checked my account and it seems that all my payments are up to date, and I still have the Creative Cloud student plan for like 5 more months. I have tried Googling and searching through the discussions on here, but I can't find anything that might help my problem. I even tried looking to see if they stopped offering it, but I still can't find anything that says they don't include Illustrator anymore. Even Adobe's own website says that it includes Illustrator. Does anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately this didn't help my situation as I've never had the trial mode of Creative Cloud, and have been making consistent payments on it since January.

Can you link to a conversation that's actually relevant? This isn't a payment issue.

No, certainly not. But it's an account issue. And if you don't want to discuss it in a public forum, then please contact Customer Care. Only they have access to your account and they are also able to log in to your system to check this out and fix it.

I'm having the same issue, and it didn't appear until today. What's going on? I just used lightroom yesterday for work, and now it's telling me I need to buy it or try it. No, I will not buy or try it because I've already bought and used it. This isn't something I didn't notice until this morning, this is something that presented itself this morning. What changed over night? I'm already paying near $700 a year for all of the suites plus storage. Is Adobe trying to make it unaffordable to use their products?
To the guy who replied with other forum links, it'd be nice if you linked to a post that actually related to this issue. This isn't a payment issue as I opted for annual billing and isn't due until the beginning of December. I use these two apps for work, both my day job and my personal business benefit from both of these programs. Please someone explain what's going on.

It looks like Adobe have broken the Creative Cloud Desktop app. I have the Creative Cloud All Apps plan. Today I noticed that the Creative Cloud app tells me I have to buy Illustraor and After Effects, which should be included. If I log in to my account they still show as included. I can start them from the PC desktop menu. It looks as if Adobe have messed up royally. It's September 3rd, a week since your post.

What kind of license do you have? Individual or Team/School license? If the latter, please contact your admin. If the former, please contact Customer Care.

I thought I'd try the wait-and-see approach. It all looks OK today.

Hi @MadTheBad @chrisghough @SmallzTV @marcuszacco,
I understand that you've been experiencing difficulties accessing Adobe apps despite having an active Creative Cloud plan. I can imagine how frustrating this must be.
This has happened to several users, and the issue was fixed by signing out and then signing in again from the Creative Cloud app.
However, if the issue persists, could you please share the logs via DM using the steps in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html)? These logs can provide valuable insights into what might be causing this and help us diagnose the problem more effectively.
I hope this helps and that you can get back to using Adobe apps without any further issues!
Best,
Anshul Saini

Hello @Ava323993255jxr,
I see that you're experiencing some issues with your Creative Cloud subscription. To clarify, Illustrator should indeed be included in your subscription plan.
Here's what you can do:
-
First, please make sure you're signed in to Creative Cloud with the correct Adobe ID associated with your subscription.
-
If you're still encountering issues, it's possible that you might be in a trial mode. This can happen if there are issues with the activation of your subscription.
-
To resolve this, please follow the steps outlined in this Adobe Helpx article: Stop Creative Cloud Trial Mode After Purchase.
These steps should help you activate your subscription properly so you can access Illustrator and other Creative Cloud apps. If you continue to face issues, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I hope this helps, and I wish you a smooth experience with your Creative Cloud subscription!
Best,
Anshul Saini
