Illustrator not saving TypeKit fonts

Why is Illustrator unsyncing my Typekit fonts every time I close? They say Synced in the cloud, but they are not available. Nowhere to be found in Illustrator. I don't want to uninstall and resync everytime I open my project. Help!

To me, this sounds like it may be a problem with the Creative Cloud app (which enables the fonts to sync with apps). Is this only happening with Illustrator, or is it all Adobe apps in which you can't find your synced fonts? If that's the case, you may need to first: ensure you're logged into the Creative Cloud, or second: IF it's not working when logged into the Creative Cloud app, first try restart that app, or uninstall/reinstall it and log back into it.
