A little hard to describe, but here's what's happening:I create two lines of text on the screen, created as point type (as opposed to text boxes). I set the characteristics for one – font, size, tracking, etc.When I select the second line of text, the characteristics of the first one continue to show in the toolboxes.Sometimes I can't make changes to the second line at all – change values in the toolboxes, nothing happens. And sometimes when I try, the changes show up on the first (unselected) line!It doesn't happen every time, and I can't figure out what the pattern is, if any.I bought a new Macbook Pro a month ago, but this issue began today.Help?I've tried:turning off GPU accelerationrecreated the filetried different fontsupgraded Suitcase Fusion (font handler)searched these forums – nothing.

Illustrator text glitch?

A little hard to describe, but here's what's happening:

I create two lines of text on the screen, created as point type (as opposed to text boxes).
I set the characteristics for one – font, size, tracking, etc.
When I select the second line of text, the characteristics of the first one continue to show in the toolboxes.
Sometimes I can't make changes to the second line at all – change values in the toolboxes, nothing happens. And sometimes when I try, the changes show up on the first (unselected) line!

It doesn't happen every time, and I can't figure out what the pattern is, if any.

I bought a new Macbook Pro a month ago, but this issue began today.
