So this is what's happening, every time I either adjust the artboard or do any types of moves where another panel opens up or some times just randomly...
my menu and the tools completely disappear I have to hover over them to basically make them come back again this happens constantly throughout the entirety of my working period on the same file. The minimize/maximize and then exit buttons are completely blank so I can't even move illustrator to my 2nd screen.
Here's what I've done to address the issue... apart from googling the issue like mad.
1. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program a few times also with and without saving user preferences.
2. read about the user interface and adjusting the sizing there.
3. in Windows > Arrange > all float...
4. Resetting the workspace.
5. Adjusted the GPU - same result in on or off mode
please help...

Then reinstall the program through the Desktop app. Before you reinstall, once again trash all preference files to make sure that your install is completely clean. Then launch Illustrator and see if the problem persists.
Also, are you running any third party plug-ins (either with Illustrator or your operating system)? If so disable them and see if that helps.
Aside from that you may need to contact Customer Care Contact Customer Care . They should be able to run a diagnostic on your system and provide answers that is probably not possible on the user to user forum.

Thanks! I will have to get the IT to run the CC Cleaner, our work-place computers are on heavy lockdowns.
