I downloaded an SVG image of an ear from Canva and opened it in Illustrator to place it inside a box. However, after exporting the edited file as an SVG again, some parts of the image are getting cropped.

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. Since the artwork looks fine inside Illustrator but gets trimmed when you re-export, you can try a couple of things. First, select the entire artwork and go to Object > Clipping Mask > Release to make sure no hidden mask is cutting the shapes. Then check if there are any unnecessary transparent rectangles or paths outside the artboard and delete them. When exporting as SVG, also try setting the 'Decimals' value higher, like 3 or 4 instead of 2, to keep the shape accuracy intact. If the issue still shows, please share the downloaded SVG file for testing.
Give this a try and let me know if the export works.

I think .ai files are not uploaded here because they get automatically deleted.

Unfortunately you cannot attach .ai files here, but you can use .pdf.
