Your question is very confusing. The file you're showing appears to be a native Illustrator file which would have the suffix .ai. The video you provided shows someone editing an Illustrator file. Please be specific as to what you are looking for.

I mean originaly what type of image extension file is used to trace. For example I took this in PNG screen shot & trace it.
