Previously in CS5, I had used image/live trace (with a dialed-in formula) to vectorize a large sheet of detailed ink line drawings. Basically I had it setup so each vector illustration had a huge number of points to achieve great detail. It worked great in CS5. When I moved to CC, the Image Trace feature had changed and didn't accommodate the same formula. I've noticed now, it's impossible to import a large sheet of detailed drawings and image trace the entire sheet effectively. The new image trace homogenizes the linework and doesn't capture the detailed number of points I could previously accomplish. I've noticed if I break apart each individual drawing and image trace one-by-one I can achieve a decent amount of quality and detail, but this is very time consuming if I'm trying to import 25-50 small drawings.
Any advice for getting a quality image trace out of a large sheet of line drawings? Or is there another program out there I should look into? I don't think going back to CS5 is an option at all. Please help!

Frank,
Maybe the only or most viable option is to Image Trace in CS5, then carry on in CC to do whichever else kind(s) of work needed there.
It is a known CS5/later issue (not even the only one), some have actually chosen to stay with CS5.

Jacob, thanks for the response. This would be a great option, but I don't think I can run CS5 on Mojave.

Frank,
I am afraid it might be so, but I believe I remember some succeeding.
It may be worth a try: the proof of the pudding is the eating.
I assume an OS downgrade is out of the question.

Via Bridge you can trace many files automatically, so once you have found settings that work, you could do many small files.
Can we please see an example of what's not working?
