I´m all new to this, and have searched YouTube for how to use the Image Tracer to work with own sketches.
I´ve uploaded my drawing, but when I'm to find the second line of tools that appears in the YouTube video once he uploads the image - its not appearing inn my Illustrator. So - I cannot do any work on the illustration.
Could anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
I do see, that the edges of my pic shows these little words ("anchor", "edge") in pink - whereas the YouTube tutor is hovering over his pic, showing these words in green. Could it be something is wrong with the way I've uploaded, prepared the image - that might be why the second tool line on top is not showing? Really grateful for answers - thank you.

Are we talking about Adobe Illustrator (what version) or some online tracing tool?
If AI, Image Trace is available in the "Options Bar", if a bitmap image is selected, or from the "Image Trace" panel.

Its Adobe Illustrator, trial - guess it´s the latest version. I want the image trace (the list of tool/toolbar where it is showing), but for some reason that toolbar line doesn't show. I do have the illustration I want to work on in front of me, but only the top shows, where it say "AI Br St" - no tool bar. No idea why...

The YouTube author probably has different settings, and his smart guides are set to green not pink
Windows Edit > Preferences > Guides and Grid > Smart Guides > Guides
To see the image trace panel
Windows > Image trace
You are not doing anything wrong.
They are maybe using an older version illustrator
The latest version the control bar at the top is now hidden in the default workspace
but Window > Control
sould bring it back and look more like their interface
