Hello @DEEPAK JANGID37902267cmxz,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Could you share more details, like the version of the OS/Illustrator installed and whether this happens with new documents or when using a different picture for importing, so I can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I’m using a Mac with the M2 chip and Adobe Illustrator (latest version 29.7). I’m facing several issues, even with the new documents or older file save: I’m unable to import any image. When I try, it shows messages like 'Reading Image' or 'Converting to CMYK' and takes an unusually long time (2–3 hours), but the process never completes. Eventually, I have to force-stop . After that, the file switches to Outline View automatically (as shown in the attached image), and I’m unable to save the file as well.

Hi @deepak_jangid1221,

Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshots. Could you try turning off GPU Performance from Illustrator's Preferences under the Performance section and see if that makes a difference?

If the issue persists, try saving your file with a new name using File > Save As, then import the image into that new version. Also, let me know if this happens with all images or only certain types, like large TIFFs or CMYK JPEGs. If possible, it would be really helpful if you could share a sample InDesign file and one of the images that's causing the problem, so we can try to reproduce the issue on our end.

Looking forward to your update.
