Importing .dxf file into AI latest version

How do I import .dxf files into AI latest version? I do not see the Import option under File menu.

Please help!

Would you mind trying to Place your DXF file to see if it helps? If the problem persists, kindly share a sample DXF file after uploading it to a file-sharing service like Google Drive/Dropbox/etc. so I can check it on my end.

Thank you for your quick response!
I am sorry I do not understand what you mean by "Place" your file. I have worked in AI in the past, when I want to open a .dxf file, I would go to file and scroll down to "import" and click, but in this version I do not see the "import" option at all.

Please see attached the file I am trying to open in AI.
